yes it did change background, but i still saw the original weapons from quake2... the sounds are there, but the walls are checkerboard the one map i do have is the cabin...cool map id like to make a map, but the qoole.com server is down. (its free now)i also have problems running on chaos servers everytime i fire that first shot, q2 dies on me and i get an error message. hmmm its beginning to piss me off

: What happened when you typed "set game gunslinger"? Did the background on the console change? If the standard Quake2 weapons appeared, you're not playing Gunslinger Quake and that's why it complained about the missing textures. My guess is that something's not installed correctly.
