While playing around with the UnrealScript code as I tried to learn the language, I developed this simple arena mutator that lets you play with Redeemers as the default and only weapon. The key thing about my version is that it creates actual Redeemer ammo (warheads) that you can pick up, plus it has an INI file lets you set some of the Redeemer specifics. You can get it from the Downloads section.
In other news, Shadowfire has designed a wicked HUD layout, so expect some screenshots of that soon, as well as our in-game menu systems in action. |

I'd like to announce three new members of our team. Cerberus, [ZiP]_Tyf, and Matt are going to be joining Shadowfire in working on our weapon models. These guys have gotten off to a running start and we expect great things from them.

| Shadowfire, our main modeller, is currently involved in end-of-semester exams. So this means he's unavailable to do any 3D weapon modelling for a while. Since we all know how important those grades are, the Night's Edge team is looking for additional help in creating, skinning, and animating models, primarily 1st and 3rd person weapon views. Obviously experience in 3D Studio MAX (preferably R3) is required for anyone interested. A large archive of scanned weapon photographs and concept sketches will be made available to anyone who's willing to join the team and help out. | Shadowfire has worked out this incredible new website design. After a little work, everything seems to be running nice and smooth. I plan to make some announcements tonight regarding our new mod, so this page will finally start getting some hits from the general public. |
