Don't forget the illustrious Tick-tock man, the Guardians of The Beam, and Blaine the Pain. Actually, a bit of the series even fits in very roughly with the Night's Edge mod for UT. :)
RF certainly isn't dead and gone, btw. I'm sure he'll make an appearance. BUT... I personally think The Stand, just like all of SK's other books, is only a mere reflection of the world that The Dark Tower/Gunslinger series encompasses. The rest pass by, but The Dark Tower is SK's self-proclaimed life's work. (I'm so glad he didn't die in that car wreck... I woulda been pissed!)
