Coat Shirt Gloves Wristband Knife Pants Boots Hat Cigar Revolver Holster Vera Goatee

Coat - This is the coat Jayne is most often seen wearing. Olive or dark tan-green, appears to be army surplus. Has a patch on the left shoulder and 4 stars on each epaulette. The collar is fur-lined.

Priority: 7. If necessary the coat can be left out.

Shirt - Though Jayne wears several different shirts, the Blue Sun shirt he wears in Ariel may be the most memorable. River cuts him with a knife because of the logo. The shirt is sleeveless, khaki/dark tan, with the Blue Sun logo on the front. Will probably go with a sleeved version.

Source: Bluesunshirts.com has good colors, decent price ($13.75), though reliability is in the air. Cafepress has 3 Blue Sun stores: The first has the same logo seen on the shirt in the show ($16.49). The second has the revised logo ($14.99). The third has the original logo ($14.99). The Cafepress stores do not offer a tan or black shirt. The best is Ash Grey, which will probably not be very dark. The shirt could conceivably be dyed after purchase.

Gloves - Jayne is frequently seen wearing fingerless gloves, especially while out-and-about or working. They appear to be leather, possibly shooting gloves.

Wristband - Often wears a black leather(?) wristband with 2 metal buckles on his right hand, especially when he is wearing his gloves.

Knife - Jayne sometimes carries a stag-handle bowie knife in a brown leather sheath. Other times, the knife has a standard plastic grip.

Hat - Jayne's most famous hat is the knit orange/gold cap that his mother made for him. It has ear flaps and a pom-pom on top.

Revolver - Jayne often carries what appears to be a modified open-top Colt revolver with a weaver mount attached to the barrel and an extra cylinder underneath it.

Source: Possibly a Nerf N-Strike Maverick for $8 at Target. Can be painted. Won't fit a normal holster though. Or modify a cap gun revolver ($5).

Gun holster - This appears to be a black nylon holster with nylon leg strap/tie-down.

Vera - It's a Callahan full-bore auto-lock. Customized trigger. Double cartridge through-gauge. This is his very favorite gun. He calls it Vera.
