We moved on to Karen and Steve's house up by LaCrosse, WI. The kids were ecstatic to find a fire pit and the ingredients for s'mores waiting for them.

The kids loved tackling this challenge. There is a giant "M" on this hillside just outside of Platteville. There were over 250 steps leading to the top. Bring it on!

If it wouldn't have been over 90 degrees out, I would have let him sleep all afternoon. I guess all of those errands to prep for our roadtrip were just too much for him.

Gavin is always finding things in the clouds. He thinks the big cloud at the top was the head of a cow eating an octopus off to the bottom right. I think he is perhaps spending too much time staring at the clouds.

Gavin carried this lizard around half of the day. He said it was his new pet. At least I can be thankful my son is finding PLASTIC critters I suppose. Lol
