- About
- What is it?
SilInit is designed to help a game master (GM) keep track of
combat with the Silhouette® system. Currently, the two tools
presented on this page support Heavy Gear®. I would like to
eventually support more than that. SilCharGen was not written by
me (Bad Mojo), but by Quintin Stone. It provides
a simple way to create a character that can be loaded by SilInit.
- What is it not?
This page, SilCharGen, and SilInit are NOT official products of
Dream Pod 9®. SilInit is also not designed to do all the work
for the GM. It's an aide or tool to let the GM keep track of
combat during a session.
- What do I need to run it?
SilInit requires Sun or IBM Java 1.4.x to run. SilCharGen should
run on any Windows OS as is.
- How do I use it?
Good question. I'll have to flesh this out more.
- What license is SilInit released under?
Basically this is a modified BSD License. This may change if/when
I release the source to part of this code.
