Daemon's New Case
A fun project I recently finished.

Note: Though this web server is doing fine, the router is getting beat up pretty hard by Slashdot. Here's a mirror that fellow Slashdotter Superfreak was nice enough to put up.
Here we see my personal system, Daemon, resting comfortably beneath my messy desk while sporting its new case. The case is made from an old IBM P70/P75 Travel Case with solid rubber wheels, a combination lock, and a steel retractable luggage handle. Daemon is the system I take to LAN parties, and this particular case is more rugged, portable, and cool than the old aluminum case it once had. (Plus I didn't like how the paint job worked out on that one.) A bit of RF-conductive spray, silicone caulk, and a permanent power switch are all that I'd need to call this case finished right now.
Let me also mention that those who follow my instructions here do so at their own, and their equipment's, peril. I'm not going to be held responsible if you do something (ANYTHING!) stupid. Even if I did it myself and you were stupidly following my example. If you're so bad with a Dremel that you accidentally cut off a limb (tough to do with a Dremel!), don't come screaming to me. If your computer blows up or fries for any reason, the only thing you're getting out of me is my sympathy.
Let's cut to the project, shall we...
