Quake III
I liked it. Basic first person shooter. Although, can get boring if you're only playing with bots and not real people. In CPU magazine there was a write up about bots and UT had the most intelligent ones compared to other games, particularly Quake. Heh, they must not play games very often.
The Sims
I liked this game for about a month then hated it until expansion packs started coming out ... and then I got a hold of a bunch of cheats. Now that I've played both House Party and Hot Date I can't imagine how anyone could play this game without the extra objects and actions. It was sooooo boring without them, yet, its rated one of the most popular and best selling games yet, according to a whole bunch of websites that might be lying anyway.
House Party
First party- I mean impression, bland actually. There a a "few" new objects and the parties are fun, but as a whole, it would have been better to download extra objects off of webpages then to go buy this expansion. I didn't see much more too it, accept the action to THROW A PARTY!
Hot Date
This expansion is the reason why I am playing the sims at all. There is a new downtown area where you can build just about anything, within reason, and using the cheats to obtain ALL the objects. That's what sucks the most about this game. Without a certain "cheat" there are only a "set" of items you can use to build some sort of store or entertainment facility to attract your sims too. However, there are more careers, more skins, definately more "interesting" actions then in House Party. And you can buy cars too :) very nice touch. The downside is you can no longer play The Sims on a 586ish type of computer anymore. It hogs memory like Windows XP and even on my 1GHz computer w/ 512MB of RAM ITS STILL SLOW!!!!! Why?!? B/c of the amount of detail there is in the downtown areas (not unless you go out of your way to make it look as bland as House Party, but that's up to you).

StarCraft
Ah! I wish I could play this more often. I really like this game but I suck at it. The first time I placed it I didn't know any of the keys or commands so it was very frustrating and it was also the only time i have ever placed with a bunch of people against the computer. Unfortuately, I died first everytime. However, I wish I could play it again in another group now that I got part of my act together.

Half Life
Um, I hate this game. I hate having to figure this out while a monster is trying to eat my leg. (Don't tell anyone in the CPE department I said that, everyone will wonder). The only reason why I even bought this was b/c they were so many mods for it but I ended up hating all the mods. Now, I don't know why I keep it. *shrug*

Diablo II Expansion: Lord of Destruction
Very cool. I wish I could play it all day. Absolutely 10. However, whenever I play this multiplayer, as excellent as it is, my character always ends up sucking. Hrm. Don't know.

Diablo II

Diablo II
The game that goes with the expansion. Very cool. The reason why I bought the expansion.

Serious Sam
If you want to play this game. I hope you have a state-of-the-art video card. If you do, get to the end as soon as possible just so you can see the final boss. HE IS UNBELIEVEABLE. And he stepped on me many times. Someone (gee, wonder who) told me that this was only made to show off the engine, yet, I don't know of any games that used it yet.

Tribes 2

This, along with The Sims Hot Date, are currently my two (as of December something 2001) the most played games on my system. I love Tribes2, mostly b/c I got really good at it and I freak people out on the servers with my smile face skin :) Made it myself with Adobe Photoshop (but it is an edited version of another smile face skin where I got the idea from so I'm not taking full credit here. Go type Ryan The Skinner in a search engine sometime). However, the clan (tribe) I was in doesn't play anymore (poor me).
Tribes2

Tropico

I love this game too. SirJev gave me the crack of it. It reminds me of the sims only the AI is much more intelligent. At least they have a purpose, they can get their stuff done and full fill their needs- if there is a means to do so. That's why I liked it-I didn't have to tell all of them to get a job ALL THE BLOODY TIME! Its much more economic based. I really would like to get the expansion when it comes out ... but I really don't know when that will be. I still thinks its just a rumor on the Gamespot Forums.

Tropico: Paradise Island

Also another crack from SirJev. Unfortuately, this expansion isn't worth $20 and I'm glad I didn't buy it. A few more buildings...a few more tourists...there really wasn't much here. *shrug* The good thing is if you have the expansion you can get a few things off of game copy world and it will run fine, without having precessor.

Dark Age Of Camelot

First online RPG I've ever played (Children Of Lestat isn't exactly the same thing). I just started playing it yesterday so you'll have to check back her to see what I think of it in a few weeks. Last updated 1/28/02

Well that was short lived. For some reason, Online Multiplaying Roleplaying Games aren't my thing. Hard to get addicted to, hard to keep leveling, besides that most of the people are there are RUDE and STUPID! A very bad combination. Plus, no one likes a Nightshade. Aww, poor Listener. Now, I don't know what to do with the box? Maybe i should give it back to Nitin...or maybe I should sell it to someone on here! Moohahahahah!!

Dungeon Seige

I'll proabably write more later, other than I beat the game last week (yes that was fast) the single player rocks, the multiplayer sucks. Sorry, but it just doesn't cut it. By the end of single player I was thinking, this can't be it is it? In away it was too easy, even though it was on normal. Hrm. This isn't coherent. TTYL
Ok, its later now. For the record, I loved this game. Played great on my computer, looked neat, and it was easy/hard enough to keep me playing and keep me interested. A "particular" person I know related it to DiabloII, and it is similar, but D2 is much longer. D2 could go on, forever, but DS stops and makes you wonder, hey, isn't there more game? Maybe there will be an expansion? In the mean time, I think I'll go download a mod.
Last thing, the multiplayer really wasn't good. The first time I tried it, there were a lot of bugs that kept everyone from playing. The second time, there was the problem with saving the game, you can't do it. You have to get to the next town. Well our group never made it to the next town, and we couldn't save it, so we never finished it.

Freedom Force

The game I am currently playing and it is so hard! Oh my word the levels are almost impossible to get through sometimes. If it wasn't for the witty remarks and cute little voices, repeating a level 3 or 4 or even 5 times wouldn't be that bad. You would think that after hearding "For Freedom!" and "Peaches and Cream!" and "Don't make me do this!" would make you go crazy the 1 billionth time you heard it, but it is actually very funny, especially when you feel like you're about to snap when the evil hot chick Shadow just gets away from the Mighty Minute Man 5 minutes before a nuclear war heads goes off in the park.

WarCraft III
I liked this game b/c it reminded me of Starcraft with a better intro. but once I finished the game and got out on battlenet I got smashed by all the 13 year old boys that have nothing to do but play Warcraft III 5 hours a day when they aren't playing Quake III (maybe that is a dated comment). The story was decent, predictable but not dumb, the ending was...well I'll let you get there :P. One of my favorite things to do was click on the characters and see what witty saying they were going to come up with next. As much as I would like to play the "war" part online or on a lan, I completely suck at it, and cheating against the computer is at least doable. DS > Warcraft >>> Starcraft

Neverwinter Nights

Bloody hell! This game is too long! I never did finish it. I attempted it single player and got smashed, and I attempted it multiplayer with a few other people, and still, on ocassion, all of us got smashed. We have moved on to playing mods lately. I like it but I couldn't play this one all the time. I like story but I don't like overkill. I can always go read a book if I feel like doing that. The rest of my "friends" love these RPG things and (OMG) they are the most boring thing in the fucking world. To each his own.
Favorite character of all time in NwN, being a cleric. Even back in the day during D&D I played a cleric. Some people like variety, I just like summoning creatures, but twice they tried to kill me and my significant other gave me a hard time about it. *sigh* And turning undead is so neat! Now if I could only do that in real life...
