History: Following on the success of their model 17 beam weapon, the Vortex corporation pushed forward on their desire to develop a rapid-fire design capable of working in a support role. After several failed attempts, the corporate engineers worked out a system of internally rotating capacitors they could use to achieve their goal. With this system, while one capacitor is firing, the others are charging. In addition, they gave their new design a large capacity internal power cell to provide plenty of ammunition between reloads. The result was a practical energy weapon that, like the Model 17, has a reputation for useful application and ruggedness.

Description: Target acquisition is made easy with the autolaser's holographic reticle. As a beam weapon it is also very accurate. It doesn't have quite the penetration or wounding capability of CyTek's laser sniper rifle, but it does have rate of fire on its side.
