History: This South African pistol was initially designed with only aesthetics in mind. From there, the engineers took over to make the gun work. The final product is a sleek, streamlined semiautomatic pistol that makes heavy use of polymers in its frame and even on the rear of its slide.
Description: The small, lightweight CP-1 is very carryable, a plus for the shooter on the move. Its 10 round capacity isn't thrilling, though, and the 9mm isn't regarded as one of the world's best manstoppers. Still, against an unarmored target, the gun is effective enough. Its low cost makes it a suitable weapon for the freelancer on a budger.
