History: The original Ithaca M37 was a hunting shotgun with a unique downwards ejection port. Out of the Featherlight model grew the Stakeout, a short-barreled pistol-grip model meant for easy concealment, transportation, and maneuverability by law enforcement officers. Ithaca shotguns that are still around have seen considerable use and a lot of years.
Description: Like all shotguns, the Ithaca makes it easy to hit distant targets because of its spread. But, of course, as the spread increases, fewer and fewer pellets actually hit the mark. So its long-range effectiveness isn't all it could be. Plus, reloading is slow and its round lead shot isn't all that great against body armor. Still, even at medium ranges it can inflict an awesome amount of damage against an unarmored opponent.
