Description: Class II armor is comprised of a woven polymer fabric, like Kevlar or similar material. Its fibers are extremely resistant to cutting or tearing, and the armor pieces are fairly light and flexible. The thin mesh, though, actually provides less protection against electrical attacks than the thicker padded armor. Class II ballistic mesh is rated up to .45 caliber handgun slugs.
