[1] IntroductionEven worse, none of the current table-top roleplaying systems have been designed with adaptation to online-form in mind! For many aspects, this may not be a big deal, but some concepts are hard to shift from table-top to online system. Many games rely too heavily upon a central Game Master, which is often lacking in MUDs. There is simply too much going on at all times of the day for a single person to unify everything and be expected to make on-the-spot rulings whenever required. Therefore, a clear, exact system needs to be available to online gamers, so they can understand exactly how their world truly works. When I feel that RPS2 can stand as a complete and finished product, I will give it a version number of 1.00. Thereafter, any changes I make will increment the version number and be completely documented in an update page. This way, you can keep track of which version you have last read and easily come up to date on any modifications to the rules. And there will be a lot of changes, once the system starts going through some serious playtesting.
