Here's the yucky part, the legal crap. Here's the thing: I didn't write this system for just us to use... If I did, I wouldn't have put it on these web pages. All information, graphics, and concepts contained within the RPS² site is copyrighted 1998 and 1999 by me. However, it is available for public distribution under the following conditions:

All copyrighted material may be reproduced in hardcopy form for private use.
No copyrighted material may be duplicated in electronic format for downloading via the World Wide Web. Instead, a link to this site and its contents will be perfectly adequate, and will keep outdated versions of the system from spreading across the web.
Any reproduction of copyrighted material must have all copyright information included, and provide the location of this web site (http://www.rps.net/RPSRPS).
No copyrighted material may be reproduced within any profit or commercial venture without explicit written permission.
Any online game site, public or private, that uses this system within their game must notify me at stone@rps.net. I am not saying that you need my permission to implement the system (beyond the constraints listed above), I merely make this stipulation to keep me informed as to how many people are making use of it.
Users are encouraged to inform me of any changes they make to the rules provided. The RPS Role Playing System is continually evolving, and I crave user input. Tell me what you like, what you don't like, and what could use some minor adjustment.
