Take the original Fallout. Now more than quadruple the size of the wilderness, multiply the number of towns, ruins, people, quests, weapons, and equipment, then throw in a car, sex, and a lot more control over NPC party members. Mix it all together and what do you get? A sequel even better than the original. Fallout 2 plays almost identically to the first Fallout (which is great if you liked that game), but pretty much everything is improved. They even fixed that pesky problem with the game being too short! Compared to its predecessor, Fallout 2 is a massive world, filled with strange and wondrous sights to behold. They even included the ability to get lucky (for all of you losers out there who demanded it). While the game did ship with a number of bugs in it, a final patch was eventually put out about a month (?) after the game shipped, so be sure you get this from www.interplay.com before you start playing!
